Liability Waiver

I understand that participating in virtual reality (VR) gaming activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, equipment malfunction, collisions with objects or other participants, motion sickness, disorientation, and other unforeseen hazards. I acknowledge that these risks exist despite the safety measures implemented by Combatica Arena.

I acknowledge the following specific risks associated with VR gaming: physical contact with walls, floors, equipment, or other participants; tripping, falling, or loss of balance; eye strain, headaches, or motion sickness; seizures in individuals with photosensitive conditions; temporary disorientation after removing VR equipment; and injuries from physical exertion. I understand that this list is not exhaustive.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Combatica Arena activities, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Combatica Arena, its owners, operators, franchisees, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising from my participation. This release applies to personal injury, property damage, or death resulting from negligence or any other cause, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I confirm that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation in VR gaming activities. I will inform staff of any relevant health conditions including but not limited to: heart conditions, epilepsy or seizure disorders, pregnancy, recent surgery, inner ear problems, vision impairments, or any condition affecting balance or coordination. I understand that staff may require me to refrain from participating based on health concerns.

I agree to follow all safety rules and instructions provided by Combatica Arena staff. I will participate in the safety briefing before each session. I will not engage in aggressive or dangerous behavior. I will immediately report any equipment malfunction or safety concerns to staff. I understand that failure to follow rules may result in removal from the facility without refund.

I grant Combatica Arena permission to capture and use photographs, videos, and recordings of my participation for promotional, marketing, and operational purposes. I understand that I may appear in promotional materials including social media, website content, and advertising. I waive any right to compensation or approval for such use. I may opt out of promotional use by notifying staff before my session.

If signing on behalf of a minor (under 18 years of age), I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor. I agree to all terms of this waiver on behalf of the minor. I accept full responsibility for the minor's participation and any injuries or damages that may occur. I will ensure the minor follows all safety rules and staff instructions.

I have read this waiver in its entirety and fully understand its contents. I am aware that by signing this document, I am giving up substantial legal rights. I sign this waiver voluntarily and without inducement. I understand this waiver is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns. My participation in Combatica Arena activities constitutes acceptance of all terms herein.
